Bauma China & ScrapeTec

Scrapetec presents innovative solutions at BAUMA China 2024

BAUMA China, the most important platform for the construction and mining machinery industry in Asia, will open its doors in Shanghai from November 26 to 29, 2024.
Scrapetec, a specialist in advanced dust suppression systems, will also be present at this world-leading trade fair. This together with its partner Qingdao Quaddro, booth E6.768. QMH is a German-Chinese solution provider in the field of bulk material handling technology and offers services and products related to conveyor belt systems.
Escpecially with the new contacless conveyor belt skirting system, ScrapeTec is taking the opportunity to present its latest developments to an international trade audience. More than 2,800 exhibitors from all over the world are expected on an exhibition area of 400,000 m², providing an ideal platform for Scrapetec to present its solutions.

Innovative products in the spotlight

The spotlight will be on Scrapetec’s AirScrape, a system that greatly reduces the emission of crystalline silica and thus meets the strict requirements of the MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) for dust control. This solution is particularly relevant for the mining industry, which will be strongly represented at BAUMA China.
In addition, Scrapetec is also expected to present its PrimeTracker, a revolutionary technology in the conveyor belt industry that, unlike traditional systems, controls the belt in an innovative way and thus minimizes wear.

Networking and market development

Participating in BAUMA China 2024 offers Scrapetec an excellent opportunity to maintain existing business relationships in Asia and make new contacts. With the growing importance of the Chinese market for the construction and mining industry, Scrapetec is strategically positioning itself to capitalize on this growth.
BAUMA China 2024 promises to be a platform for pioneering technologies and system solutions. Scrapetec’s presence underscores the company’s commitment to providing innovative and sustainable solutions for the global construction and mining industry.

You are welcome to see ScrapeTec’s solutions against dust and spillage at Bauma in China.

MSHA regulations for silica: 7 good reasons for the AirScrape
With the new MSHA silica regulations coming into force on 17 June 2024, the AirScrape system is an effective solution to consider Considering the stringent nature of the new MSHA silica rules and the potential health risks associated with silica exposure, implementing effective dust control solutions like AirScrape is crucial for mining operations. It not only helps in achieving regulatory compliance but also demonstrates a commitment to worker safety and health. Here’s why you should consider implementing AirScrape in your mining operations. 1. Compliance with MSHA regulations The new MSHA silica rules aim to reduce miners’ exposure to respirable crystalline silica, a known health hazard. AirScrape helps mining operators meet these stringent requirements by effectively controlling dust emissions at conveyor transfer points. 2. Effective dust control AirScrape is designed specifically to seal conveyor transfer points, without friction or wear, significantly reducing dust emissions and minimizing silica dust exposure. This targeted approach addresses one of the primary sources of airborne

US- MSHA Silicat Rules and Scrapetec solutions
How Scrapetec Can Enhance Compliance and Worker Safety Introduction In the mining industry, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations is paramount to protect workers from potential hazards. One such regulation that has garnered significant attention is the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Silicat Rule. This rule aims to mitigate the health risks associated with exposure to respirable crystalline silica, a common hazard in mining operations. In this article, we will explore the key provisions of the MSHA Silicat Rule and discuss how Scrapetec’s innovative solutions can assist mining operators in achieving compliance and enhancing worker safety. The final rule will take effect on June 17, 2024. Understanding the MSHA Silicat Rule The MSHA Silicat Rule establishes permissible exposure limits (PELs) for respirable crystalline silica to reduce miners’ exposure to harmful levels of silica dust. It requires mining operators to implement engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection

AirScrape: Non-stop clean innovation
Global Gypsum Magazine 05/2019: Conveying With the innovative AirScrape side seals, spills and dust at transfer points in conveying systems and belt damages are a thing of the past. In the gypsum industry, contamination of conveyor systems and dust generation during operation are a well-known problem. Conventional side seals at belt transfer points can help, but even friction forces quickly wear them out. This causes them to lose their effect and also damage the belt of the conveyor over the long-term. This, in turn, increases the costs of maintenance and/or replacement. The AirScrape from ScrapeTec Trading Ltd. is different and represents a rare innovation in that it increases the service life of conveyor belts, per- manently saves on cleaning costs and is virtually maintenance-free. Beyond the chute and conveyor belt, the AirScrape ensures high levels of cleanliness. Wilfried Dünnwald, developer and manag- ing partner of ScrapeTec Trading, developed the AirScrape in 2013 due to a specific inquiry from a
