New Leadership at Greif-Velox
There is a change at the helm of the packaging machinery manufacturer, Greif-Velox, based in Lübeck, Germany. Effective February 1, 2024, Sebastian Pohl, the former Director of Sales & Marketing, joins the management team alongside Thorsten Köll.

With its recent international expansion, Greif-Velox has strengthened its position in the liquid and powder filling sector. Particularly in the ultra-light powder bagging sector, such as Carbon Black, the vacuum system ’VeloVac’ has solidified its position as the world leader. “Our goal is to persuade even more customers of the substantial advantages of our technology in terms of efficiency and sustainability,” adds the new management team.
Consistent Internationalization and Growth Strategy
Thorsten Köll has been a part of Greif-Velox’s management since 2019, having previously managed operations at Gabler Maschinenbau GmbH. Sebastian Pohl was appointed as the Sales Director in 2020, transitioning from the Dutch lifting and transport specialist, Mammoet, to Greif-Velox. He has consistently driven the company‘s internationalization and growth strategy over the past four years.
