Fiktech supports Sybrandy by word and deed

Fiktech supplied two LP (low pressure) air knives with a length of 1,600 mm with associated side channel blowers to remove fine blasting shot material in the baking molds of Sybrandy.
Sybrandy was founded in 1928 as a machine factory and since then has focused entirely on blasting, spraying and dust extraction technology. Sybrandy delivers the complete layout and all surface engineering disciplines in a new or existing building. The company takes care of the complete construction, including supervision from the quotation process to delivery with all the necessary fittings and cabins.

In 2014 Sybrandy was acquired by the Airblast Group. The Airblast Group was founded in 1974 and has been one of the largest distributors for the Middle and Far East region for more than 40 years. With the Airblast Group acquisition, Sybrandy has gained access to an even larger network of distributors worldwide, enabling further international growth.

There are several ways to give the blasting agent the desired speed and direction. Many automatic blasting systems are based on the vacuum injection blasting process. The advantage of this principle is a continuous supply of blasting media to the blasting nozzle(s). The product to be processed is blasted using a selection of blasting nozzles for an optimal result.

Sybrandy has recently started production of a continuous blast machine equipped with a blow-off zone in the work area. This machine is specially designed to clean metal bakeware completely down to the base material before a new layer of coating can be applied.
After the end of the blasting process remains - undesirably - fine blasting shotmaterial in the baking molds. To solve this problem, Sybrandy turned to Fiktech B.V. to implement a suitable solution. Fiktech has various components (including air knives / air cannons / side channel blowers) to perform an initial on-site test.
Together with the Sybrandy technicians, the preliminary experiment was carried out. At a relatively low exhaust fan speed of 80 m/sec. The cleaning result was satisfactory. Based on the test result, Fiktech then supplied two LP (low pressure) air knives with a length of 1,600 mm with associated side channel blowers.

The entire system was assembled by Sybrandy and put into operation in France to their complete satisfaction.
