8th European Congress of Chemical Engineering

Congress

The 8th European Federation of Chemical Engineering will for the first time be held together with the European Congress of Industrial Biotechnology, paying tribute to the fact that many of today’s challenges can only be solved by the cooperation of these two disciplines. About 850 lectures in 19 parallel sessions will showcase the whole range of chemical engineering and biotechnology, from “classical” operations, safety issues and computational skills to the development of a new resource base, industrial biotechnology and nano scale applications. The plenary speakers include K. Konstantinov, Genzyme Corporation, A. Kreimeyer, BASF SE, P.A. Tanguy, Total S.A. and R.G. Werner, Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH. A student program and an accompanying exhibition will round off the event.

The Call for Papers will be published in autumn 2010.
