Visit of Feed Design Lab & Dinnissen
Company visit
On Thursday 9 February 2023, the bulk materials associations DSIV and Machevo are jointly organising a visit to the Feed Design Lab in Wanssum in the morning and to Dinnissen BV in Sevenum in the afternoon. In the evening there will be drinks and delicious food at the Turfhoeve in Sevenum. (Both locations are in the Netherlands, near Venlo).
10:00 Feed Design Lab, Wanssum
Feed Design Lab is the leading practical research and education centre for innovation and sustainability in the animal feed sector. More than 100 companies from across the sector, based both in the Netherlands and abroad, are partners in Feed Design Lab and participate actively.
Feed Design Lab has three primary activities: renting out our test plant, providing training and developing projects. Feed Design Lab is unique in this ¬– nowhere else in Europe do research, training and trial feed production all take place within the same institute.
12:00 Visit Dinnissen BV, Sevenum
We will be welcomed with lunch by Frans Bakker and Michael von Opel. Afterwards we will hear a presentation about the development and products of Dinnissen. During the subsequent tour of the company, we will be guided through the production plant in small groups.
With over 70 years of experience in industrial processes, Dinnissen is a specialist in process technology for powders, pellets and granulates. From design, machine development and processing to automation and control. Dinnissen optimises and innovates processes with tailor-made solutions.
18:00 Evening event, Sevenum
Together with our Dutch colleagues we will spend the evening with drinks and delicious food at the Turfhoeve in Sevenum. There will be plenty of time for professional and personal exchange.
The Turfhoeve restaurant was opened in 1974 as a traditional pancake house. Even then, you could enjoy the pleasant ambience here and Limburg hospitality has been a priority here ever since.
