The tradition of sieve production by the founder Curt Ebert began as early as 1920. Over 100 years of experience, sophisticated craftsmanship techniques, combined with an innovative spirit - for example, the Varia harp was co-developed at our company - have made Curt Ebert one of the leading German suppliers to the sieving industry.

In 2008, the screening activity was integrated into the activities of the Dorstener Drahtwerke Group as Curt Ebert Siebtechnik GmbH. Mutual impulses from the internationally operating sister companies support today’s technical product developments and delivery standards.

Close cooperation with customers and screening machine manufacturers remains an important cornerstone for successful development. The strength of the company lies in particular in its good and fast delivery service - combined with compliance with high quality standards.

OptiScreen HS harp screens, made for heavy-duty screening tasks
Optimum screening results thanks to the OptiScreen HS harp screens from Curt-Ebert-Siebtechnik; self-cleaning; avoids blockages; sharp grain separation The screen panels consist of individual continuous longitudinal wires corrugated in the screening plane with square screen openings in a diagonal hole arrangement. The individual longitudinal wires lying flat next to each other are held in place by PUR strips melted in at defined intervals so that the longitudinal wires between these cross-connections have a springy freedom of movement. OptiScreen HS harp screens have the advantage that the longitudinal wires lie exactly in the screen plane, particularly in the case of cross-tensioned screen panels. This makes it possible to increase the spacing of the PUR cross-connections and improve screen cleaning. The spacing of the PUR cross connections should be designed so that there is one cross connection on each of the cross supports of the screening machine frame. OptiScreen prevents blockages OptiScreen HS harp screens have square screen openings. The resilient freedom of movement of the individual longitudinal wires

DDD Group expands into Italy
Screens and screen linings made of wire and polyurethane for various industries and applications, especially for the separation of stones, soils and minerals. The DDD Group, based in Dorsten, North Rhine-Westphalia, took over the business activities of the Italian company Sovatec s.r.l. at the beginning of July 2024. The new subsidiary, based in Stazzano (Piedmont), has been producing high-quality wire and polyurethane screening surfaces for various industries and applications since it was founded in 1973, in particular for the separation of stones, soils and minerals. With its portfolio, Sovatec is the market leader in Italy and, with an export quota of over 50%, is also an established supplier for customers throughout Europe. In addition to the significant capacity expansion in the production of wire screens, the DDD Group is utilising the available synergy effects and expanding its own product range through the integration of polyurethane screens. The internationally recognised company name ‘Sovatec’ will be retained, as will the current 50 employees, who will all continue to be employed under the new management.

CES expands and optimises its screen tensioning service
Curt-Ebert-Siebtechnik manufactures sieve trays for the screening machines of industry. Close cooperation between CES and screening machine manufacturers is an important cornerstone for success. In the course of its more than 100-year history, Curt-Ebert-Siebtechnik (CES) has developed into an internationally recognised specialist in screening technology. For example, Curt Ebert developed the Varia Harp - a screen whose openings always remain free due to the different oscillation widths of the wires. High quality standards, consistent service and an innovative spirit have always guaranteed the success of CES. Today, the Dortmund-based company’s quality screens are used in a variety of industries: in addition to classic applications in mining and the minerals industry, they are also used in the food and animal feed industries as well as in the recycling of industrial waste. The current service portfolio includes harp screens, long wire mesh, round wire mesh as well as support nets and meshes specially tailored to customer requirements. CES has further expanded and optimised its comprehensive screen tensioning service. The Dortmund-based company manufactures

Powtech 2022: Dorstener Group presents innovations
CSM 300 screening system for finest metal powder applications; solid-liquid separation of particles from 5 µm; ultrasonically excited screening machine from assonic Since its beginnings, Powtech in Nuremberg has stood for real innovations in the field of powder and bulk solids processing technology. The Dorstener Gruppe, represented by the companies Dorstener Drahtwerke, Dorstener Siebtechnik and assonic, also has a number of innovations in store at the trade fair. For example, the experts will be presenting their CSM 300 screening system, developed for the finest metal powder applications. The CSM 300 is the little sister of the CSM 500, which is already established on the market, and complements the product range of the powder specialists from Radevormwald in the smaller-volume segment. Like all assonic sieve solutions, the CSM 300 has a modular design and can combine useful features, such as metering fittings for two powder feeds, pneumatic powder feed and discharge as well as load cells and sampling modules, in an extremely compact housing. Equipped in this way, the ATEX-compliant sieve shaker becomes a small powder preparation
