Sustainability and resource efficiency in pressure relief
At ACHEMA, Bormann & Neupert by BS&B is presenting the first ”green” reverse rupture disk for industrial applications - also for the increasingly important market of hydrogen applications. Whether alternative drives for the vehicle fleet or a photovoltaic system on the company building - the highly topical trend towards greater sustainability as well as environmental and climate protection also has many manifestations in the business environment. Sustainably manufactured components for plant, equipment and machinery are another building block for greater sustainability in the process industry. With the new LSR reverse rupture disc, Bormann & Neupert by BS&B now offers the first ”green” pressure relief for industrial applications in new and existing installations.
The LSR manufacturing process is consistently designed for low resource consumption, reduced CO2 emissions and low energy requirements. For example, no water is used in the production of the rupture disk, the packaging consists exclusively of recyclable cardboard and the one-piece design significantly reduces the amount of material required. The BS&B production facilities have environmental
