Liebherr was founded in 1949 by Hans Liebherr and has since grown into a group of companies with over 55,000 employees in more than 150 companies on all continents. Today, Liebherr is not only one of the largest manufacturers of construction machinery in the world, but is also recognised in many other areas as a provider of technically sophisticated, user-oriented products and services. Since 1985, Liebherr has been developing, producing and selling efficient moisture and water content measuring systems for industrial automation worldwide at its Bad Schussenried site. All sensors are produced and calibrated at the Liebherr factory in Bad Schussenried. In-house sensor development at Liebherr covers the entire R&D value chain from the physical idea to the complete solution, from the concept to the finished product.
