HDT Seminar ”1x1 of Process Engineering” (in German)
In the seminar ”1 x 1 of Process Engineering - Fundamentals and Selected Practical Applications,” basic process engineering knowledge is taught.
Process Engineering Fundamentals & Applications
The process engineering field deals with the technical and economic implementation of processes in which substances are changed in their type, properties, or composition. Corresponding expertise is of great importance in numerous industries, particularly for the planning, realization, and operation of plants with which products are manufactured economically and in the required quality. A central task is the selection and design of the appropriate apparatus for the respective process.
The fundamentals of process engineering are based on the interplay of various areas of physics and chemistry, as well as on its own methodical approaches. These help to structure the complexity of process engineering steps and make them understandable. Recurring basic principles can be transferred to different processes and apparatus, thus enabling a systematic approach to a wide range of technical issues.
In the seminar ”1 x 1 of Process Engineering – Fundamentals and Selected Practical Applications,” fundamental theories, knowledge, and methods of process engineering are taught and applied using practical examples. To deepen the knowledge learned, the participants independently carry out typical calculations under guidance. The goal is to understand basic process engineering relationships in technical processes and to be able to evaluate them quantitatively. In addition, the seminar supports participants in confidently discussing process engineering issues with customers, suppliers, plant manufacturers, and other project participants.
