The Problem: Manual Risk and Inventory Blind Spots
In traditional industrial environments, managing inventory has often been a matter of ”estimation” rather than precision. Manual measurement is not only inefficient but creates severe safety hazards for personnel. Furthermore, legacy single-point sensors fail to account for irregular material surfaces, such as cones or depressions, leaving plant managers with critical data blind spots and operational uncertainty.
The Solution: Radar for Absolute Transparency
To solve these challenges, RETTAR engineered the 3DPro2300, utilizing high-precision millimeter-wave technology. We chose Radar as our core medium for its unmatched reliability in high-dust and high-humidity environments. Unlike optical sensors, our radar maintains 24/7 stability even under 1cm of dust coverage, unaffected by loading or discharging processes.
The 3DPro2300 captures up to 16,200 points per scan, completing a full 360° visualization in as little as 10 seconds. With a single-point accuracy of ±2mm and volume modeling precision within ±0.5%FS, RETTAR enables facilities to transition from ”guessing” their stock to ”knowing” their exact inventory through high-density 3D point clouds.
Versatile Installation and Redundant Safety
RETTAR’s innovation extends to human-centric engineering. The 3DPro2300 features a compact 185mm diameter, requiring an installation aperture of only 190mm. This minimizes structural damage to silos and lowers construction costs. To simplify deployment, a built-in 6-axis gyroscope automatically senses XYZ inclinations and uses patented technology to correct installation angle errors in real-time, eliminating the need for expert calibration.
For mission-critical reliability, the system employs a dual-power and dual-network redundancy design, preventing data loss from single points of failure. Our software is highly flexible, compatible with both Windows and Linux architectures. This allows for seamless data integration with ERP systems via OPC UA and MQTT, empowering management to access historical data and real-time volume metrics from any desktop or mobile device.
