Requirements
When the company planned the construction of a new plant in Northern Spain, they turned to PAYPER once more as the provider of the full packaging line for the setup.
RAGT had two main requirements. The first was a fully automatic bagging line capable of efficiently filling pre-made open-mouth bags of various sizes with seeds. The second was a Big-Bag filling station for the same product, seeds.
Alongside the two bagging systems, RAGT also required a palletizer and a protection system for the pallets and the large Big-Bag sacks.
Solution
Engineers from both companies collaborated to develop the best solution that met all the requirements of RAGT’s new project. The final solution consisted of a fully automatic open-mouth bagger, model CSA-95, capable of easily switching between different bag sizes and equipped with a dual-labeling system.
Alongside the bagger, a low-level infeed palletizer, model LLG-90, was installed. Its gripper head ensures perfect overlapping of the bags, resulting in a stable and perfectly finished pallet.
Additionally, a new Big-Bag filling station was installed, allowing for the stacking of bags.
Both palletized bags and Big-Bags are directed to the pallet wrapping machine, ensuring impeccable protection against moisture and dust for the seed-filled bags. In this particular case, a labeling system was incorporated, capable of applying labels on all four sides of the wrapped pallet.
