The pipe systems manufacturer KMH-Kammann Metallbau GmbH supplies its products with blasted surfaces as standard. A new blasting medium is used that ensures a particularly resistant and hygienic surface finish. For almost 40 years, KMH has been developing and producing clamping ring- or flange-connected pipes, components and systems for aspiration and bulk materials of all kinds. The new high-quality stainless steel finishing will be delivered from November 2022. In order to achieve the optimum surface quality, the blasting medium is completely free of angular structures. In addition, only high-alloy stainless steel grit is used. With the new finishing process, the stainless steel surfaces convince with roughness depths of maximum Ra 0.8 μm (exceptions are only in the seam area or with poor accessibility).
