Really acidic, abrasive or low-temperatures? No problem. Now we also offer our auger blades in Hardox 450 HiAce steel.
In system planning and maintenance, the wear resistance of individual components is an important and cost-determining factor. Bulk materials with a low pH value, e.g. wood chips, place special demands on the steel quality of conveyor systems. Contact with acid causes the surfaces of the steel components to oxidise. The attacked components are more susceptible to wear and thus have a lower life expectancy.
High resistant steel
Hardox 450 HiAce has been specially developed for use in acidic and corrosive environments. This resistant steel is not only tough and structurally stable as well as particularly resistant to low temperatures. Its special material properties slow down the oxidation process on the steel surface. The longer service life of HiAce plant components is an immense advantage for your resource planning.
Longer life
Screw blades made of Hardox 450 HiAce achieve up to 3 times longer durability in the PH range 3.5 to 6 compared to the regular Hardox 450 material. These screws last longer - but we still deliver them with the usual precision within 8-12 working days, or even faster on request. True to our motto: Fast. Precise. Inexpensive.
