Jansen & Heuning present semi-automatic big bag crusher

A new product in the big bag crusher range of JH. It has proven to be a very successful alternative between the mobile crusher and the fully automatic crusher.
The content of big bags can become hard for many reasons. In that case, it is not possible to empty the big bag in a normal way, because the lumps are too big. By crushing the content, the large lumps are reduced to a workable size.

Scope of the installation

  • crusher arms
  • frame at height
  • removable shield
  • radio remote control for the forklift driver
  • hydraulic unit
  • the entire frame can be easily moved with a forklift

Operation

The big bag crusher semi-automatic can be operated as following: a big bag hang with its loops on a forklift and is loaded into the crusher form the top. The crushing usually starts from the top and moves its way down to 4 to 5 places distributed over the height of the bag, the forklift thus lowers the big bag downwards. A crush movement of the big bag crusher lasts approximately 10 seconds. This cycle may be repeated after rotating the big bag 90 degrees , this ensures that all large chunks in the big bags are broken.

Hydraulic unit

  • hydraulic hoses
  • electrically operated hydraulic valve by the remote control
  • power supply to be provided by the client: 3 x 400 V + neutral + Earth / 50 H (5 pin socket)

Protection

  • the machine is operated by the forklift driver who has a good view on the machine
  • the frame is protected with steel mesh sheets in accordance with the applicable CE standards

Stable two meter high big bags with a filler and shaker station in one
Jansen&Heuning made a smart modification to an existing big bag filling station, thus creating fully filled, stable big bags of 2 meters high. Most big bags are slightly over meters high. But how do you ensure a good big bag filling process and stable big bags when they are almost 2 metres high? With this question, HSR Packaging from Ede (NL) came to Jansen&Heuning. We started working on a smart modification of the existing big bag filling station: a big bag fill- and shake station in one. The problem: unstable, poorly filled big bags The big bags at HSR Verpakkingen are almost 2 meters high and are filled with various recycling products. The client noticed that big bags could not be filled fully with the old big bag filling station, because the contents were loosely added to the big bags. In addition, they noticed that the filled big bags did not stand very stable on the pallets, which is necessary with big bags of almost 2 meters high. The solution: bigbag shaking and filling station in one Jansen&Heuning designed a modification of the existing big bag filling stations by adding a big bag shaking

Sorting installation for rice farm in Suriname
Cameras are used to analyze the colour of each grain of rice individually. With compressed air, each rice grain is then blown into the correct output. Jansen&Heuning has delivered and installed a sorting installation for Manglie, a rice farm in Suriname. It is not the first project Jansen&Heuning carried out for Manglie; earlier they delivered a transport system for loading fertilizer into airplanes. In 2021 our engineers delivered an optical sorter ‘Cimbria SEA TRUE’, two elevators of 10 and 12 meters, a self-made pneumatic two-way valve, an exhaust system and all supplies and parts for these machines. Sorting grains of rice by colour The optical sorting machine is applied in the flow of rice. Cameras are used to analyze the colour of each grain of rice individually. With compressed air, each rice grain is then blown into the correct output. The use of the sorter leads to good composition and therefore to a better final product. The two elevators take care of the supply and discharge of the sorter. The extraction system (fan and cyclone) extracts the dust from the process for the proper operation of

Innovative spreading cabinets for precision castings
Jansen&Heuning have developed a series of spreading boxes for CIREX, to evenly spread ceramic powders on a wax model. The innovative installations contribute to optimizing the production process and improving the quality of the cast, steel and metal components. Steel and metal foundry CIREX bv manufactures complex components for global industry; from knife heads and pump parts to transport wheels and sensor housing. These are often high-tech components that must comply with class D3 tolerances, as laid down in the internationally recognized German standard VDG-P690. CIREX uses the ‘lost wax model’ method to produce the precision castings. Wax Tree One of the many process steps in the ‘lost wax model’ method is that a ‘wax tree’ -which consists of a series of wax molds-is coated with a ceramic layer, to eventually arrive at a cast result. The wax tree is imersed in a slurry, raised and then dusted with a ceramic powder (a type of sand), followed by a drying process. This is a cycle that repeats itself seven to nine times. Finally a refractory, ceramic mantle is formed
