SSB offers custom printed bags for your bulk material In the bulk materials industry there are the most different bags for the respective end product. SSB supplied a container tilt chassis, where weighing equipment is completely separate from the structure. Two tipping stations are controlled by one control system. This equipment is designed to unload bulk containers with plastic granules and repack the products for local needs and logistic handling. The containers are placed on a tipping device with an integrated certified weighing bridge using a reach stacker. The weight of the container is read and then emptied into a hopper located below. After emptying, the empty weight of the container is read and the actual net weight of the batch is determined. Due to the design of the tipping chassis, the weighing equipment is completely separate from the structure. For weighing, a weighing frame with 4 measuring cells is hydraulically lifted to decouple the container from the tipping chassis. The hydraulic lift is provided by special synchronized cylinders and controls. The interlock with the tipping station is ensured. 2 tipping stations are controlled by one control system. The special SSB design of the tipping units with integrated scales guarantees easy and absolutely safe

New valve bagging machine for wheat flour for Hedwigsburger Okermühle GmbH Hedwigsburger Okermühle GmbH in Germany is one of the oldest mills still in operation. It dates from 1318 and has had uninterrupted activity since 1820. Okermühle contacted their partner, SSB Wägetechnik GmbH for a new valve bagging machine for wheat flour. Together we designed their new line, which is a fully automatic installation consisting of an automatic bag presenter and a fluidization bagging machine. The flour is introduced by gravity into a chamber in which a stream of air from the bottom fluidizes the flour. Another flow of air from the top of the chamber conveys the product into the bag. The fluidization system is the ideal technique for food products as it is very easy to clean, control and maintain. It facilitates a perfect cleaning of the whole bagging equipment in between different productions. Once the bag is full, the valve is thermo-sealed by two ultrasonic bars. The result is a perfectly airtight bag with good protection against any external
