NEW: Mini Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 29 – ideal small sample quantities

The small professional grinder for versatile use

The FRITSCH Mini Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 29 is the ideal laboratory mill if you regularly grind small sample quantities of materials such as grain, seeds or even plastics and other materials with a low specific density.
The Mini Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 19 is inexpensive, compact and space-saving, completely uncomplicated to use and can be cleaned contamination-free in a few simple steps.

Particularly powerful: different rotors with 4 cutting edges and fixed knives enable up to 48,000 cutting processes per minute.

Overview of the main features:

  • Variable rotational speed from 500 – 6000 rpm for optimal cutting speed
  • Feed size up to 13 mm diameter, volume up to 100 ml
  • Variable final fineness with sieve inserts from 1 – 6 mm
  • Grinding chamber completely made of 316L stainless steel
  • Hygienic Design for easiest cleaning with just a few simple steps
  • No loss of moisture during sample preparation for determining moisture

Ideal for analysis of moisture, raw fibre and ash as well as for IR and NIR
Thanks to its variable rotational speed, the FRITSCH P-29 comminutes especially grain and other seeds in an optimal way and with almost no loss of moisture. It thus fulfils the essential requirement for analytically correct analysis in the area of feed and raw material sampling.

Sample Preparation Made Easy
Sample preparation is very important to obtain accurate data from analytical testing. To obtain this representative data, the entire sample must be properly comminuted. The Knife Mill PULVERISETTE 11 is perfectly suited for this task. Consistent, Representative, Accurate Consistent and viable representation of sample preparation leads to more accurate and repeatable results for analysis. Obstacles in handling or reducing materials with varied sample size, moisture levels, physical attributes, and material sensitivity create additional challenges in critical analysis. Obtaining a representative sample from an entire batch can be variable, complex, and time consuming. This is more complex when faced with a diverse sample load. While difficult, sample preparation is one of the most important steps in obtaining accurate data from analytical testing. In regards to comminution there are often limiting factors, like the rheological properties of a material, the ingredients, or the volatile components. In this case, consumer products such as blenders and coffee grinders are chosen for laboratory use. Industry quality knife mills offer specific utilization capabilities beyond consumer appliances. High final fineness for large quantities
Fast and fine: Disk Mill PULVERISETTE 13 classic line. he ideal instrument for fine grinding of up to 150 kg per hour of soft to hard-brittle and temperature-sensitive solids, even in continuous operation. articularly ideal for medium particle sizes in the areas of mining and metallurgy, glass industry, ceramics industry, soil research, rocks and soils. The Disk Mill PULVERISETTE 13 classic line is the ideal instrument for fine grinding of up to 150 kg per hour of soft to hard-brittle and temperature-sensitive solids – even in continuous operation. The maximum feed size per piece is approximately 20 mm edge length, the final fineness is freely adjustable between 12 mm and 0.1 mm. Powerful fine grinding The material to be ground is comminuted by pressure and shearing action between two counteracting grinding disks with coarse interlocking teeth. The ground material automatically falls down through an output gap into the collection drawer. The desired final fineness can be defined from the outside by changing the gap width. Advantages PULVERISETTE 13 classic line: * High throughput up to 150 kg/h * Fine grinding down to 0.1 mm * Grinding disks are available

The comminution of pumpkin
The cryogenic grinding of small pumpkin samples succeeds quickly and easily with the vibratory micro mill PULVERISETTE 0 and cryo attachment. Bishop’s cap, butternut, nutmeg or the popular Hokkaido: numerous variations of the colourful autumn vegetable are available in the fall. Unfortunately, however, pumpkin plants absorb organochlorine pesticides (OCPs), among other things, particularly easily from the soil as a result of earlier conventional cultivation. In most cases, however, the residues in samples from the European region are well below the legal maximum levels nevertheless an examination of pumpkins mandatory. In order to grind small amounts of the pumpkin sample to a fine powder, we equipped the laboratory mill with a stainless steel grinding set and a grinding ball with a diameter of 50 mm. Grinding parameters: - Feed quantity: 7 g - Feed size: 12 cm diameter - Grinding time: 1.5 min - Final fineness: fine powder 150 µm Test grinding In this test we used our Vibratory Micro Mill PULVERISETTE 0 with cryo-box and stainless steel grinding set. An amplitude of 3.0 mm was pre-programmed.
