An unbeatable duo
Flexco Europe: Fast conveyor belt assembly with PUN M NDX finger punch and the Aero 325 mobile splice press. Users now have superbly efficient tools for on-site belt assembly – the new Novitool Pun M NDX mobile finger punch in combination with the compact Aero 325 splice press. Used together, these two new developments from Flexco Europe speed up the professional preparation and splicing of reinforced thermoplastic drive belts – enabling a fast return to full operation.
Roller conveyor belts are sturdy and economical. They are mainly used in shipping, logistics and distribution, for example to transport boxes, totes or polybags. Preventing downtimes is essential if the products are to reach customers on time, so maintenance staff must repair damaged belts as quickly as possible and get them up & running again. Flexco Europe has now launched the Novitool Pun M NDX mobile finger punch for faster belt repair.
Technicians can now punch precisely shaped fingers for high-quality endless splices. The precise shape is needed because the fingers at the end of the belt must always have the same dimensions – and they must not be deformed or frayed at the edges. Maintenance technicians can produce precise, smooth cuts with this high-performance punch. With the easy-to-use, one-hand clamping bar, the belt is punched and automatically transported further, without the need for any more steps. A cover on the scraper blade protects the operator and assists in the removal of the belt.
For professional and time-saving splicing of drive belts, Flexco Europe also offers the Aero 325 mobile splice press which is used in combination with the finger punch. This creates a high-quality splice in just 18 minutes, including warm-up and cool-down times – around one third of the time required by conventional presses. The Aero 325 is easy to use, portable and consistently produces quality splices.
