Microwave-Level Guard
MOIST xLEVEL is an intelligent microwave sensing head for level monitoring in process.
The microwave technique the device is based on has many advantages when compared to other customary methods of level metering. A high field range and the big sensing distance are only two representing advantages MOIST xLEVEL provides. According to the microwave technique being used, the probe works highly sensitive. In addition to the advantages described above the probe will not be influenced by dust or foam. The sensor is a smart sensor.
MOIST xLEVEL is a compact and robust sensing head predominantly used for controlling levels in solids and bulk goods, where high penetration depths are desired. As a consequence the probe can be used in applications capacitive sensors cannot cope with in terms of reliable switching. An optimisation of the switchpoint is possible on-site due to the serial interface that allows the probe to get programmed within the field. MOIST xLEVEL is mounted with a RF optimised dielectric flange.
Special fields of application for the sensor are level monitoring installations in bulk goods, grains and agricultural materials. The level guard can also be used in the food industry, in conveying engineering and in the agriculture generally. On request, customer specific calibrations and adaptions can be manufactured for new applications and materials.
