MOIST T
Process Microwave Moisture Measuring Device
MOIST T is a microwave based transmission sensor system for contactless moisture detection on floating and planar moving webs.
Special fields of application for the sensor system are contactless moisture measurements of building materials, mineral fibrous insulating material and bulk goods. Moisture detection of grains and of agricultural materials can be special fields of application, too as well as the conceivable usage for the food industry. Customer specific calibrations and adaptions can be manufactured for new applications and materials.
The microwave probe system is a smart measuring system with an on board microcontroller. It is used in combination with the control unit MOIST CONTROL 100. Transmitter and receiver of MOIST T are mounted with a special clamp and will be protected by a special dielectric cover.
The MOIST T process sensor system provides a material specific moisture range from 0 to 50% (wet base) at a material thickness of 500 mm. It measures real-time moisture values accompanying to the process. The standard operating temperature range of the sensor may vary between 0 to 70°C.
