XPT-C: particle suspension is pumped through the flow-through cell on the outside of the unit - either directly from process or from a sample.

XPT-P: the probe is measuring directly in process.

The integrated CCD camera continuously takes images which are analysed in real time and results displayed and saved.

Different systems – one software: The XPT software is used for all types of XPT units for automatic online image acquisition, particle size and shape analysis, trend display, storage of analysis methods, automatic saving of images depending on predefined criteria and process integration (external start/stop of measurements, analog and digital outputs).
