Brabender Technologie introduces Congrav® OPC UA interface

Industrie 4.0 for gravimetric dosing

In addition to ProfiBus, ProfiNet, EtherNet/IP and EtherNet ModBus TCP Brabender Technologie now also offers OPC UA as PLC interface for gravimetric dosing. The EtherNet technology-based OPC UA protocol is platform- and vendor-independent and is currently seen as the ideal communication protocol for the implementation of Industry 4.0 .
OPC UA enables integrated communication from individual dosing controls to the ERP system or to the cloud.

For the Congrav® dosing controllers Brabender Technologie has developed a new OPC UA board. The Congrav® dosing controller must be ordered in advance as an OPC UA version. The OPC UA board cannot be retrofitted in existing Congrav® dosing controllers.
