Pulverizing with a modular rotor
The pulverizers type PU are modular: according to their application they are available with different rotors: grinding discs with grooved and conical grinding tools; wing beaters with replaceable ridges mounted on the periphery; pinned discs for models without screen, also counter-rotating, or blast rotors with a high self-ventilation can be supplied. Our product range has been increased at both ends. For low capacities from 10 to 150 kg/h a brand-new machine with a rotor diameter of 180 mm, the so-called PU 180, is now available. For extremely high capacities , we are now able to supply large-scale plants with a capacity up to 3000 kg/h and a rotor diameter of 1250 mm.
All soft and semirigid materials can be pulverised with these machines. We will also be able to supply tailor-made machine solutions with a high ventilation, or plants with a cooling device for materials that are extremely sensitive to temperatures. Materials that are extremely difficult to pulverise will be cooled with liquid nitrogen, before entering the grinding chamber.
Very often it will not be possible to obtain the required fineness in one step. In this case a screening machine will be interpolated that will separate the oversize particles and will return them once again in the pulverizer.
