They hold the product together and protect it from external influences. The bags are made of paper or plastic, depending on the contents, and according to the Working Conditions Act, should not weigh more than 23 kg to be handled manually.
A valve bag is a flat bag fitted with an inner or outer valve. The bags are filled using the valve that is located under the glued top edge. When the bag is filled, the product pushes the valve closed so that the bag is self-closing.
Open-top bags must be closed after filling. Possibilities for this are: Sealing, FTS closing, Pinch-top, sewing (with or without folding and with or without crepe). A combination of these different closing methods is also possible.
