RKR invests in site extension
Assuring production efficiency in project business
Just last year, the new, modern administration building at the location of Rinteln, in the district Schaumburg, has been taken into service. Now RKR is investing in production hall extension in order to implement further manufacturing capacity for realisation of logistically ambitious projects.
RKR produces oil-free rotary blower and compressor systems for customer specific demands in industry. Contrary to standard business, which stands for high quantities with a constant capacity utilization rate, RKR solutions are mostly distinguished by project character with long process times and temporarily high capacity requirements in all company departments.
Meeting highest quality demands in individual projects is the daily business of RKR. For quality assurance in the manufacturing process the assembly sequence is interrupted according to schedule in documented development steps for intermediate measures. The quality securing measures as well as the project specific variety of components and the temporary peak workloads require a flexible and at the same time reliable business concept. With the extension of a 600m² production facility on the 22.000m² company site, which RKR has taken over in the year 2011, RKR is ensuring the production efficiency at the location of Rinteln for the upcoming years as a reaction of the increased order intake.
