Filter valves for operating pressure up to 10

IMI Precision Engineering expands its filter valve portfolio

Bad Oeynhausen. With the goal of making the cleaning of filter systems through higher pressure surges more efficient, IMI Precision Engineering has expanded its IMI Buschjost filter valve portfolio. In addition to the reliable 2/2 way valves for a maximum operating pressure of 8 bar, the group of companies now offers a valve variation which can withstand operating pressures up to 10 bar.

In particular, users are convinced of three significant advantages of the new IMI Buschjost valve: On the one hand, the cleaning result is considerably improved due to the use of higher pressure surges. On the other hand, the new 10 bar valves offer the possibility to equip filter systems with longer and larger filter hoses to increase the efficiency of the whole system. Furthermore, the filter valve withstands design pressures up to 12 bar – while testing the tightness of the pressure accumulator, it is therefore not necessary to convert the system during acceptance inspections.

The key component of the robust filter valve is a high quality TPE-diaphragm. It works without pressure springs, is particularly durable and reliable in operation. The diaphragm is characterized by quick opening and closing times that result in reduced compressed air consumption and operating costs. The compressive strength of the diaphragm has been expanded to 10 bar due to a number of modifications in design.

Anyone interested in learning more about IMI Precision Engineering can do so at Powtech in Nuremberg. The group is presenting itself under the motto ”Efficiency meets Sustainability” from 19 to 21 April 2016 in hall 4, stand 590. Visitors can expect an assortment of high quality products and systems from IMI Buschjost and IMI Norgren. Experts on site will consult any interested parties and inform on standard products as well as customer specific solutions.
