The multifunction hose from Masterflex already proved itself last year to be a winner for users with its unique combination of antistatic capability and microbe resistance, which had never before been achieved. Thanks to combining these two additional characteristics, extremely important for a spiral hose, the Masterflex range overview was simplified, item availability was upgraded, and choosing the product and placing the order improved.

And now Masterflex is going one better. From now on the hose is being enhanced with another, third characteristic which ensures flame resistance in accordance with DIN 4102 B1 – and at no extra cost. Masterflex is the only German manufacturer to offer a hose made of polyester-polyurethane (PU) which combines these three properties.

The improved hose range is immediately available under the name Master-PUR Trivolution and in varying degrees of wall thickness.

Previously customers had to decide which of the different additional properties to opt for, such as microbe resistance, antistatic capability, or flame resistance, depending on the application.
“We’re really pleased to have taken yet another great technological stride forward with this product innovation”, says Christian Horstkötter, Marketing Director of spiral hose business at Masterflex SE. “Thanks to the material mix, Master-PUR Trivolution combines all the important properties of a spiral hose, as well as being antistatic, microbe-resistant, and hardly inflammable according to DIN 4102 B1. That means that this innovative hose can be used in almost any situation to convey the widest variety of media”, as Horstkötter is keen to emphasise.
And when it comes to pricing, the new hose range is real value for money: the Master-PUR Trivolution is available at no extra cost in comparison with previous models.
And the result? The combined strengths of Master-PUR Trivolution create added value that the customer can really appreciate. The high performance of the material used remains, even with the modified composition of raw material, and continues to provide best possible service life as well as ensuring universal usage for the Master-PUR Trivolution. And thanks to its antistatic capacity this hose range is also ideally suited for use in accordance with TRBS 2153. On top of this, the customer also has the advantage of easier product selection, improved item availability from stock, and reduced storage costs.
