Just delivered: AVA Mixer for Suspending Fly Ashes

Mixers humidifying fly ashes are part of AVA’s daily routine, however, recently the demand for converting fly ashes into suspensions has been increasing significantly. This requires the fly ashes to be over-humidified in order to obtain a pumpable final product, which subsequently may be dumped or used as stowing material. A further benefit of this method is that highly reactive ashes may be humidified to such degree that they react to completion and still are dust-free.
One of these AVA plants in a semi-mobile design has just commenced operation in Croatia. The ashes are suspended in an AVA continuous mixer with a throughput of 35t/h, and subsequently dumped directly via a pump. AVA has delivered a package unit containing the mixer, a water dosing system, and a control unit.
