Inline Kempink Tester Ctrl Measures Pellet Quality in Live Operation
WEMO-techniek invites pellet producers to Voorthuizen to test the Inline Kempink Tester Ctrl using their own products. The system measures PDI values and bulk density, providing practical operator recommendations.
Live demonstration with custom pellet samples
A fully functional demonstration system featuring the Inline Kempink Tester Ctrl is operational in Voorthuizen, Netherlands. Sampling, transport, testing, and packaging with coding are handled via a single transport system. Producers can bring their own pellets by appointment to test and analyze them on-site.
Translating measurement data into process optimization
The Ctrl system measures the PDI value and bulk density of pellets, performing multiple measurements per hour per production line. It links measurement data directly to pellet quality and plant equipment, translating values into actionable operator recommendations. A dashboard immediately indicates whether steam, pressure, or recipe adjustments are required.
Efficiency gains and future AI integration
According to the manufacturer, continuous quality monitoring serves as a benchmark for higher capacity, reduced raw material consumption, and lower carbon emissions. Marco van Mourik of WEMO-techniek highlights the benefit of on-site testing: "Bring your own pellets, and you will see for yourself what the Ctrl does with your product." WEMO-techniek is also developing the Ctrl+, which uses machine learning and AI to predict future quality trends. The Ctrl+ is currently being tested and is not yet available.
Finalist for the Regio Foodvalley Innovation Award 2026
The Ctrl is already in use at several producers, including market leaders, and is one of three finalists in the Industry and Logistics category. From 19 to 25 October, the public can cast one vote per category. The award will be presented on 27 October at De Hof in Renswoude. Appointments for a demonstration can be made by phone at +31 318 64 11 44 or by e-mail.
