Plenty of space for innovation at Greif-Velox

GREIF-VELOX is one of the most tradition-rich companies in the field of industrial bagging, filling and palletising technology. Its roots date back to the year 1100, when monks founded the Greifenmühle mill in Klützow, Pomerania – an origin from which centuries of practical expertise in handling bulk materials and efficient packaging processes have developed. Building on this experience, Ernst Mahlkuch, whose family had owned the Greifenmühle since 1734, founded GREIF-WERKE in 1938. Since then, the company has been developing and implementing high-performance bagging machines and filling systems for industrial applications. After 1945, GREIF-VELOX emerged from this foundation in Lübeck, Germany – today with more than 150 experts and a clear focus on innovative, efficient and reliable packaging solutions. The last Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in 2023 was also carried out successfully with the customer. The co-customers of Chemikalien-Gesellschaft Hans Lungmuß mbH & Co. KG, Dortmund, specialist for unshaped refractory products, have accepted their new bagging system at Greif-Velox in Lübeck - a gross pneumatic packer BVPV with Valvomat, conveyor belt, conveyor technology and safety equipment.

Greif-Velox continues with the next project for Huber | Martinswerk GmbH and the FAT Clean and compact bagging with our VeloVac and automatic palletizing. Take a look at the successful factory acceptance of the full-line system with vacuum packer. Nothing stands in the way of timely delivery. The VeloVac-XL vacuum system from Greif-Velox offers virtually dust-free and compact bagging of ultra-light powders thanks to an innovative technology: a completely closed vacuum chamber. Until now, ultra-light powders such as carbon black or pyrogenic silica were particularly difficult to bag safely and compactly in FIBCs (”BigBags”) due to their nature.
