Another part of a major customer project in the logistics sector has been successfully completed with our palletizing solutions and the delivery and commissioning is in full swing. Our dedicated SSB team has worked tirelessly to meet the requirements and ensure the project is delivered on time and to the highest quality. This week we have reached the next exciting step, two heavily loaded trucks with our palletizing robots have started their journey to the customer. Carefully packed and secured, the products and materials have reached their destinations, where they are now set up and put into operation. The SSB team continues to support the customer as a matter of course and in the long term. The delivery is part of the result of effective cooperation and the use of state-of-the-art technologies in this project.

We offer trials for your logistics and packaging process in the test station with our palletizing robot Ai1800 directly at our premises. Our customers have to react to the changes in the market for different requirements and processes. We simulate the processes suitable for your (logistics) projects in order to look for an efficient solution, if necessary also problem-free with your own bulk materials and final packaging. Our well thought-out palletizing systems facilitate effective and economical handling. We develop individual automation solutions in the form of automatic palletizing systems that optimally complement your logistics processes and increase the efficiency of production and contribute to a reduction in costs.

We set up and simulated a test with our granulate thrower in our halls for a customer from the USA. In the USA there are other vehicle lengths and container dimensions to consider. Extra-long freight containers in 53-foot dimensions are widespread in the USA and Canada and offer considerably more space than the 20, 30, 40-foot sea containers standardised in Germany, which can also be filled here without any problems and are suitable for European terminals and transhipment stations. We set up and simulated a test with our granulate thrower in our halls for a customer from the USA. The 53′ container posed a challenge.The aim is to fill a 53′ container evenly with granulate. The inliner has a total length of 16.2 metres and is to be inflated and then filled very quickly by our GWS 2000 granulate thrower. However, the known throwing distances are below the new targets. The tests in our company are to determine how realistically the new requirements can be implemented. More capacity at the port of Duisburg’s bulk storage facility A modern logistics centre for bulk goods for the petrochemical industry is being built in the port of Duisburg. The location is of great importance for the plastics industry. The bulk goods facility operates automatically from loading to bagging and labelling. Products are filled from containers into silos, stored and loaded onto trucks or repacked into bags as required.
