The aim is to bring the Belgian subsidiary of the Bückmann Group even closer to the needs of customers in the Benelux market through Canal.
‘In recent years, Bückmann Belgium has been strategically managed from Germany. This sometimes meant that we were not close enough to the market,’ says Managing Director Bernard Bückmann. The transfer of shares to Canal, a specialist for screen mesh and perforated plates in Benelux and Africa, should therefore ensure a presence once again. An in-house screen tensioning service is the next logical step for Canal. In turn, the handover will allow Bückmann to concentrate even better on its core market in Germany.
We are very pleased to have found the right partner in Canal. It goes without saying that all employees in Belgium will also be taken over by Canal.
