SYMACH features an innovative hybrid bagging machine for open-mouth and tubular film bags that combines a tubular FFS and an open-mouth bagging system. Maximizing flexibility, SYMACH designed a hybrid bag filling system in their FILLstar bag filling product line. The hybrid FILLstar handles both premade open-mouth bags and tubular FFS bags. Market demands change rapidly and require a higher degree of flexibility in automation. Therefore, versatility is at the core of the FILLstar bag filling system design. SYMACH recognized the value of versatile systems that allow you to reply to changing customer demands. Whether your customers request heavy-duty tubular bags or premade open-mouth bags is not an issue anymore. A dedicated open-mouth bag filling system that fits today’s requirements can also be upgraded to a hybrid system. Multiple SYMACH hybrid systems are operational at customers in the fertilizer and potato flake industries. We made no concessions to the flexibility for open-mouth bag types and materials. SYMACH designs and manufactures complete bagging lines. Associated with the bagging machine, the weight dosing system is now part of the equipment designed and manufactured by SYMACH. SYMACH now offers weigher with gravity feed and with belt feed. In both options the filler remains the same, only the feeder changes and remains modular, so if for example the customer wishes to switch to more complex products in the future, adaptation is easy. The packaging recipes entered in the bagger are synchronised with the entire line, bagger, weight controller, palletiser and especially the dosing machines; changing a recipe on the bagger will initiate an automatic changeover of the complete line. The screen allows the operator to view the setpoint, speed, averages and standard deviations directly. In parallel to this development, SYMACH offers dynamic weight controllers integrating weighing electronics, coupled with a system for ejecting non-compliant bags. SYMACH palletizers stack ZST 50kg sugar bags in slings, to load a ship. The SYMACH systems offer quick and reliable palletizing flexibility for container/sling. At the end of last year, Zeeland Sugar Terminal in Westdorpe loaded the first breakbulk / general cargo vessel with 50kg bags of sugar in sling bags. The ultramodern sugar terminal, ZST, has two SYMACH palletizing lines and can therefore efficiently load both containers and sling bags. Flexibility to meet customer demand and a high capacity to palletize mainly 50kg bags of sugar quickly and reliably into the right format were necessary for ZST. Loading slings with bags into the hold of a ship quickly and efficiently can only be done with stable straight stacks of bags. The high palletizing quality of SYMACH palletizers provides straight stacks that are sufficiently cohesive with each other for good stability. For the palletizing line SYMACH also designed and built the bag transport to feed the palletizers and the pallet transport system. 25kg bags This new video shows filling of 25kg animal feed bags. Before filling a label is applied on-the-fly by a tamp-on labeler. A bag top registration keeps track of the bag top and measures the bag length allowing a bag length tolerance. The FILLstar maintains the gussets at all times to optimize bag quality. The universal spout can fill a wide range of bag widths without changing spouts. A separate paper label is sewn to the bag when sewing the bag closed. At the end of the bag filling line a bag kicker kicks down the bag for palletizing the bags of compound feed.
