Magnet prevents contamination of eggpowder
Combination of magnet and metal detector for reaching the HACCP standard
Goudsmit has recently developed a fully automatic rotating clean-flow magnet which removes ferrous particles from egg powder. This new magnet type for continuous production processes can be cleaned automatically.. Moreover, the company can supply the magnet in combination with a metal detector so the product is finally checked just before loading and no metal contamination is left in the product.
Substances which are sticky and irregular in shape, as for instance egg powder, form a bridge over the magnet rods as they are mounted above each other in a staggered position. The rotating movement prevents the product from sticking on the rods. The system is suited for 40 m3 powder per hour and is of course executed in an extremely hygienic version.
