International transport & logistics group AsstrA reports its results of 2005.
Figures of 2005:
• 31% growth of AsstrA’s client portfolio • 18% increase of AsstrA group turnover • 28% growth of the quantity of transport orders • more than 1.5 mln. tons of cargo delivered by all transport means worldwide
Facts of 2005:
• New service – combined and air cargo transportation from China and South-East Asia to CIS and Baltics – launched by AsstrA’s representative office in Shenzhen, China. • New service package for cargo transportation and processing through the seaport of Odessa offered by AsstrA’s affiliate opened in Odessa, Ukraine. • “Warehouse services + Distribution Russia/Ukraine-wide” package presented in Moscow and Kiev. • New program “Fuel on credit with euroShell” offered for transport companies and carriers. • Four daughter companies registered in AsstrA’s regions of economic activities – AsstrA Ural in Ekaterinburg, AsstrA Cargo and AsstrA Logistic in Moscow, AsstrA Belorussia in Minsk. • Contract for freight forwarding services signed between the companies AsstrA – Saint-Petersburg OOO and Russian Railways JSC subsidiary. • Direct contract for port freight forwarding services prolonged between AsstrA Ukraine OOO and State enterprise Odessa Commercial Seaport.
