AS Crown Emballage was founded in 1930 as a manufacturer of gummed paper – production of which has since been discontinued – and has served for a number of years as a supplier of packaging to the Danish market.

"We`re delighted and proud to have the opportunity to take over the activities and employees of Crown Emballage, and we`re looking forward to extending the range and service offered to its customers," says managing director Anders Rosberg, who heads the Danish operation. "Our main task now is to tell customers about Boxon Crown AS, and we hope that they find our range of products competitive."

Boxon currently operates nationwide in Sweden as a supplier of packaging and bulk handling, and also has offices in Germany, Norway and China. Boxon opened a sales office in Denmark in 2004 and has a well developed logistics flow with daily deliveries. The acquisition of Crown further strengthens Boxon`s position in the Nordic region.
