New address Delft Solids Solutions

Now also available: Field Testing Area

Delft Solids Solutions has recently moved to a new location in Wateringen. Beside new offices and a new laboratory space, divided over three different labs with a total area of 250 m2, we now also posess a so-called Field Testing Area. This latter facility has an area of 200 m2 and an effective height of 6 meters. Here, larger pilot plant set-ups can be built and researched, which can mimic the true situation in the factory.

Coupled to our laboratory facilities and our expertise, this enables to offer the best-possible solutions in the area of particle characterization.

Private and fully indepedent Contract Analysis Laboratory for physical characterization of solid materials. Particle size analysis and particle shape is being determined in the particle size range from nm's to micrometers. Techniques usedc are laser diffraction, PCS, sieving, electrical sensing zone, sedimentation. Porosity, surface area, pore volume and pore size analysis in the range from 0.5 nm up to 800 micrometers by techniques as physical gas adsorption and mercury intrusion porosimetry. True density analysis by helium pycnometry and apparent and bulk density analysis. Powder flow characterization by Hosokawa powder testers. Experiments are executed in accordance with ASTM and ISO standards.
