Strong focus on sharing techniques and knowledge about corrosion

Seminar Technotrans is about a preventive policy regarding wear and tear and corrosion

Besides a wide range of exhibitors, Solids Rotterdam offers a comprehensive seminar programme. The subjects of these free lectures will vary from decreasing explosion risks to the prevention of corrosion. On Wednesday 2 October Technotrans, Institute for Technology Transfer, will bring up this subject in their lecture “Stagnation and losses due to corrosion, do not fit in this day and age”.
The aggressive and capricious way corrosion often behaves, are a continuous concern when talking about sustainability, productivity and safety. Technotrans’ seminar provides information about the latest developments to counteract wear and tear and corrosion.
Because corrosion can manifest in various ways and because of multiple reasons, the industry often confused and unaware of the costs. Fortunately, the technical growth is a continuing factor as well and these solutions provide us with more and more ways to predict the speed of corrosion and the residual life of the installation/machine provides a certain amounts of solution which can forecast the velocity and the residual life of corrosion.
The lecture by Technotrans is part of a very comprehensive seminar programme, which brings new insights to the table and will be of great added value for both visitors and participants. Visit the Solids’ website for a complete overview of all seminars
A visit to trade show Solids Rotterdam on 2 and 3 October 2013 is, as well as the lectures, a not to be missed experience for everyone who is dealing with assimilation, storage and transport of solids and dry substances.
