New Salt Dosing System with F.C. Control
Recently Fördertechnik Starick GmbH has supplied two special ( semi-flexible) Screwconveyors to C.T.H. b.v., Almere.
C.T.H. b.v. is a specialized company for Natural Sausage Casings and Animal By-products.
These Screwconveyors, constructed from high quality stainless steel, take care of the conveyance of salt from the storage silo to 2 Salt Sprinkler Machines. Both Screwconveyors are equipped with a mutual inlet and are positioned under different angles into different directions.
Uncommonly these ( semi-flexible) Screwconveyors are - in this special case - used as Dosing Screwconveyors, because they are equipped with - Frequency Convertion ( F.C.) - controlled motorreductors.
A new development nowadays, because untill recently these type of Screwconveyors were equipped with drivemotors with fixed r.p.m.
C.T.H. b.v. has now the possibility to vary the desired dosing rate, f.e. from 50 - 250 Liters/h, with an accuracy of approx. 1-3 %.
The supply took place within 3 weeks.
