Emotron expands into Latin America
Emotron AB, with its head office situated in Helsingborg, Sweden, has experienced an increasing demand for its solutions in Latin America, with sales increasing continuously over the past few years. By establishing its own distribution and service networks, Emotron aims to be one of the leading suppliers of control solutions for motor drives in selected applications.
Development is fast and there is a great need for modern techniques to increase the efficiency of machines and processes.
“Today our products are mainly used to control pumps and machines in the mining industry. Our products have already proven that they can meet demands for high performance in harsh environments in these applications,” says Paul Gustavsson, Sales & Marketing Manager at Emotron.
The company sees great potential in water/wastewater, oil and gas, mining and cement. These are very well suited markets for the company’s unique adapted solutions for controlling pumps, compressors, crushers, cranes amongst others.
The first mission of Raul Vazquez, the new sales manager at Emotron Latin American Inc. situated in Miami, is to establish local distribution and service networks. Raul Vazquez is an electronics engineer who has lengthy experience in the business, most recently from a position as the Latin America distribution manager at ABB’s drive division. Raul’s established connections and good knowledge of the region will provide a sound basis for success.
