Dust explosion in siloplants has become a topic and literally a hot issue since new ATEX regulations have become applicable. This means that per 2006 each siloplant should have taken precautions to avoid dust explosions.

PRECIA MOLEN is aware of this important issue and has succesfully passed the severe tests of LCIE (the leading authorization Company for submitting ATEX certificates). As a result we deliver hopperscales to siloplants with ATEX approval. PRECIA MOLEN Breda has obtained the official ATEX certification under the following name: EC type examination certificate nr. LCIE 04 ATEX 6067X. Marking: Ex II 1/3D T90°.
In short it means, internally zone 20 and externally zone 22 (dust).
