Lindor searches project engineer

Lindor Machinefabrieken in Dordrecht, NL, develops, designs and manufactures special mixing machines / blenders for precious and sensitive powders, granulate and natural products for Food, Fine Chemicals, Special Plastics and Pharma. Besides just mixing, the functionality of the Lindor designs has expanded to heating, cooling, freezing, drying, coating, impregnating, desinfecting, etc. Lindor equipment is sold worldwide.

Lindor searches to recrute a project engineer to support the engineering team. Main tasks are:
. Configurating and designing Lindor mixers to client specifications
. Designing of machines, assemblies and components
. Developing and designing new products
. Supporting sales with cost calculations and conceptual designs
. Assisting installation and commissioning of Lindor machines at clients
. Conducting mixing trials in Lindor testing center or at client site

To be succesful we believe the following attitude, experience and education is required:
. Team player
. Applies apropriate balance between required theory/calculations and practical approach
. Innovative, creative, ambitious
. Good feeling for communication in English, pref. Dutch, pref. German, possibly French too
. Prepared to travel abroad occasionally
. Experience in designing (rotating) machinery
. Up to date with food industry requirements and trends
. Completed study (BSc) in engineering (mechanical, process)
. Skilled in working with 3D design software (Lindor uses Inventor and Vault, latest update)

Lindor mixers, because of their unique mixing principle, are especially suitable for processing even the most sensitive, delicate, and/or fragile particles, granulates and powders. There is a range of available options: * liquid injection, * cryogenic mixing, * air drying and cooling * vacuum drying * CIP systems, * fully automatic controls. These mixers come in a range sizes , with volumetric capacities ranging from 10 to 25,000 litres.
