Gericke manufactures for more than 100 years batch mixers. As a new development Gericke shows its single shaft mixer GBM (Gericke Batch Mixer). This mixer can be used for divers different processes. The GBM can be operated with Froude numbers varying from 1 to 3 which influences the energy input and mixing result. It is available pressure tight, and is suitable for heat exchange operation as well. For dispersion duties high speed rotating de-agglomerators can be integrated into the mixing chamber. The mixer is delivered as ATEX category 1, 2 or 3 equipment. Standard sizes are manufactured from 150 liter up to 3000 liter volume. The “clou” of the Gericke GBM is the expansion zone where particles can exchange easily their position. By this movement the axial dispersion can be improved. Gericke delivers for more than 60 year pneumatic conveying systems. Gericke delivers under the brand name pneuwork® dense phase conveying technology for abrasive or high temperature products. The construction of the pressure vessel and of its accessories is specially designed to ensure a reliable and durable operation in heavy duty industries. The vessel is equipped with a fluidising bottom, a special wear resistant conical inlet valve. Combined with the diverter valves and anti-abrasion deviation pot, the Gericke Pneuwork conveying technology incorporates all necessary parts for a robust and efficient material transfer. Gericke pneuwork® systems are placed in factories for building material, in power stations, waste treatment plants or steel and glass production. Bohle Continuous production for solid manufacturing is an FDA-approved and recommended tool to produce unmatched quality through improved process control and understanding. Dosing system Vibro-Dos devices are used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry for filling of drums, cardboard boxes, containers and big-bags. The are capable of metering bulk materials of different flow characteristics reliably and exactly. The Vibro-Dos system basically consists of a supporting case, a plastic molding inner body and a butterfly valve which is brough to vibration by two pneumatic vibrating engines. The regulation of the aperture angle is carried out by a pneumatic cylinder with specifically developed electropneumatic activation which guarantees very short response time and a high repeatability of the aperture angle. All dosing parameters are specified at the balance terminal or the operation terminal of the PLC. The Netzsch De-Aerator is established as „the wonder machine“ for the de-aeration of liquid products. With this machine, it is possible to simply remove micronised gas and air pockets of liquids with different viscosities or of viscous masses and pastes. According to the VTR principle (Vacuum-Thin layer-Rotational procedure) different products with low viscosity to flowable masses are processed with minimum product loss. Depending on the machine size and viscosity of the products throughput rates of 50 – 4,000 kg per hour can be achieved. The Netzsch De-Aerator can be used to de-aerate both small quantities using changeable tanks in batch operation or for large processes in continuous operation. The new agitator bead mill ZETA® RS of Netzsch-Feinmahltechnik GmbH is a logically consistent advancement of the model LMZ system ZETA® agitator bead mill that is specially designed for comminution and dispersion in the nanometer range. With the ZETA® RS it is possible to employ even smaller grinding media (300 to 50 µm) and – thanks to the modified separation system – to reliably hold them back, even at low circumferential speeds or high product viscosities. In the planning stages for the new agitator bead mill and in its implementation in practice, particular emphasis was placed on an appealing, modern design and easy handling – especially when dealing with very small grinding media. A combination that fits L.B.
