Upgrading flat-bottom tanks and tank shells

Haus der Technik – short HDT – is the oldest German institution for technical advanced and further education. Founded in 1927 the nonprofit organization is today one of the leading hosts for seminars, conferences and congresses. HDT disposes of a unique network of reputed lecturers. Besides collaboration agreements exist with several German universities as well as research institutions and companies both in and outside of Germany. HDT´s aim is and has always been to foster careers, facilitate the exchange of experiences among experts and to present latest developments in science and technology.

On April 25 an 26 renowned speakers will share their experiences and present practical examples of solutions for fulfilling environmental protection, general safety and fire protection requirements in tank terminals. in German Flat-bottomed tanks and vessels are the backbone of industrial storage. However, the efficiency of these structures can decrease significantly over time. Therefore, their careful refurbishment is essential for maintaining efficiency and safety. With the annual conference ”Upgrading of flat-bottom tanks and vessels”, the HDT (Haus der Technik) has established a highly regarded forum for networking and professional exchange from the perspective of practical application.
