Pan coating is a well-established process in the pharmaceutical industry for functional coating of tablets or pellets. But how does the user get the desired films, and what has to be taken into consideration during this process?
People who are interested can get answers to these questions at the hands-on Pan Coating workshop that will run from October 15 to17 in Binzen and Pratteln close to Basel. The workshop, which will be held in English and will include a comprehensive hands-on component, will be hosted by the Technology Training Center (TTC) as part of its annual program for 2013.
The two-day workshop will be heavily focused on gaining hands-on experience, which is emphasized by a full day at the lab that the participants will spend using and learning about the tablet coater.
