Volume measurement of bulk solids at any location Our TILAS3D tripod-based measuring system is suitable for measuring bulk solids outside of defined areas. Unlike stationary fixed scanning systems, our tripod-based system can measure bulk solids at any location and with high accuracy. The scanning system is placed on or next to the material to be measured. Depending on the situation, several scans may be necessary until all surfaces have been captured. Our intelligent projection system ensures that the individual scans can be combined with little effort. The scan data is projected in the same direction in which the scanner ”looks” at the material. Missing areas within scanned surfaces can be calculated by the software using interpolation. Once all scans have been combined, the volume of the bulk solids can be calculated.
