For applications with critical (abrasive) bulk solids, we have developed the new VacFlow, which has no mechanical components. The VacFlow system enables the sampling of bulk materials (powder or granules) from containers and silos without mechanical components and moving parts. Pressureless storage containers above bagging plants and sending vessels are typical plant components in which the VacFlow can be used. The resting product is sucked in and conveyed by a blast of air via a cyclone into a sample bottle. The VacFlow is particularly suitable for bulk materials that are abrasive and whenever other mechanical systems do not work. It has no mechanical moving parts that could block and is characterised by its uncomplicated installation and reliable operation.

Reducing risk of foreign bodies in bulk products Metal separators and detectors are used in many companies in the bulk materials and process industries to prevent foreign bodies from entering the product and then reaching the customer. However, this requires that all objects that can get into the product during the long production process can also be detected. Especially the laboratory requirements made of plastic always represented a potential risk. FOSBA therefore now offers a whole range of metal detectable products that considerably reduce the risk of foreign bodies in the product. The new spatulas, blades, funnels, jugs, bottles and cans are not only metal-detectable but also easy to see thanks to their blue colouring.
