Simatek Drum Feeder with Forced Feeding System A pendulum bucket elevator is the obvious choice for gentle and flexible conveying of bulk products, but when it comes to fine powders and very abrasive products this is still a challenge. Now Simatek Bulk Systems introduces a new Forced Feeding System which – in the combination with other initiatives – makes pendulum bucket elevators very suited for conveying complex powders that are non-easy flowing, fragile, abrasive or explosive. By adding a screw feeder module to the patented Simatek Drum Feeder it is possible to secure a high filling degree of the elevator buckets. This feeding system is based on individual batch feeding of the elevator buckets without product spillage. In combination with the Simatek Drum Feeder it is possible to convey with elevator buckets without overlap. Continuous Batch Feeding System (CBFS) For more than 30 years, Simatek Bulk Systems A/S has developed and marketed Pendulum Bucket Elevators for gentle conveying of bulk products. The system is acknowledged for its flexibility as the horizontal and vertical transport of fragile products can be carried out in one single conveyer. The usage of the Pendulum Bucket Elevators has increased significantly with the Simatek drum feeder (CBFS) which is now patented. With this feeding system the elevator buckets are filled separately with a high and controlled filling degree. And this without overlap and mechanical contact between the buckets.
