The design and planning areas are characterized by specific requirements in many ways. To meet the complex problems of our customers, doubrava decided for the implementation of 3D CAD. The planning accuracy and quality is increased many times over and offered its customers an even better service. The egineers are realizing the assemblies and components using the latest 3D software. The new system, coupled to a database, thus enables a more precise response to customer needs. Initially 12 employees were familiarized in an one week training with the new working tool. To consolidate the knowledge acquired, the employees will be supported another 2 weeks by the supplier in “daily business”. Another service for the customer is to be able to print the on computer generated 3D models in cooperation with the higher technical school Vöcklabruck. The 3D plotting technology makes it possible.

It ensures that consistent, always updated standards and relevant regulations of the regulatory authorities are met. Last year doubrava got a big order for Canada. An international, italian Group, successfully in building material supply industry, pins on the quality and reliability of doubrava industrial plants for a serveral time. In a two-month, highly intensive working process, the welding preparations were performed by Mr. Norbert Wolkerseder, doubravas welding specialists. For the test itself, a handful of specially trained professionals were retrained in addition. The welders had a one-week test to proof their skills. All candidates passed the exam with flying colors and were able to convince the examiner of their abilities. Thus doubrava industrial plants expanded its international operations to another country.

The vertical conveying of bulk solids with conventional machines like belt bucket elevator or belt conveyor with corrugated side walls can become a hard resolvable problem very often. That is why DOUBRAVA engineered the new TWIN BELT CONVEYOR. This twin belt conveyor has one big advantage that also at the conveying process with adhesive, wet bulk solids the material can be released from the belt during dropping a 100%. Furthermore the belt can be cleaned like conventional conveyors using wiper systems like it is usual on the market. The belt guide has no limits too: a change from the horizontal to the diagonal or vertical and also the craning conveying road are no problems. Bevor dropping the conveying road can cross over any long horizontal without problems again.

Award for Metallic and Steel building Technology Traineecompetition in the industry branch of WKOÖ 2011. On the 30th of April 2011 our Metallic and Steel building Technology trainees of the 2nd year as an apprentice compete voluntarily with other trainees in this sector again. It took them nearly 6 hours. During this time they had to create a work piece by marking out, cutting, drilling and so on. In line with the award at the Linzer Design Center the winners were honored.
