Train Loading Station Hall 5 - Booth L 17
Train Loading Station
Hall 5 - Booth L 17 Contactless velocity measurement and interior profile measurement of the waggon for the train loading station System features: o Train velocity measurement o Interior profile measurement for the detection of empty waggons o Fill level measurement after the loading o Exact train positioning Short description of the LASE measurement system: The measurement system consists of six LASE 2000D laser scanners and a LASE Control Unit (LCU). Each two laser scanners in front of and behind the train loading station are situated besides the rail and measure the side wall of the waggons and the tractor in a horizontal level. Thereby the train position and velocity is determined. A further laser scanner is centrally installed in front of the loading station above the rails and measures the interior profile in order to check the emptiness of the waggons. Another laser scanner is located behind the loading station to measure each fill level. For further information,…

Rail Car Dumper Station - Contactless object detection and emptiness contro
Hall 5 - Booth L 17 The measurement system by LASE contains the following features: o Determination of unexpected objects on top of the material in wagon o Emptiness control after unloading process o Rugged construction o Reliable results Short description of the application: Two 3D-Laserscanners (one per wagon) are mounted above the wagons and the rail dumper. The application collects the scanner data and performs all needed calculations. Before tipping the wagons, the scanners are measuring the surface of the bulk material in the wagons by swiveling the scan plane from one side of the wagon to the other. After the unloading procedure the scanners are swiveling back and measure the inner surface of each wagon. If the waggon is not empty in this case, it will be tipped again and can be unloaded manually. Heap profile and volume measurement
Hall 5 - Booth L 17 Exact 3D-Heap Measurement with continuous inventory By means of the LASE CEWS BV Module-Application it is possible to generate exact 3-dimensional heapprofile- and heapvolume measurements while doing a continuous inventory simultaneously. Indirect methods of measurement like a belt scale system on the supply and discharge conveyor, consuming manual measurements (total station survey) or at worst just only estimations belong to the past now. Whether you are an operator of waste incineration plants, lignite facilities, cement plants, steel mills, etc., or a supplier to the handling facilities, our 3D-laser measurement technology allows you to determine the exact profile and volume of the bunker contents or heap. Depending on the heap-size, one or more 3D-laserscanners are installed on a unit (Stacker/Reclaimer) for the realization. In connection with the position of the unit a 3-dimensional image of the whole heap will be developed and compared to a…

Bunker & Box Profile and Volume measurement Exact 3D-Bunker Measurement with continuous inventory
Bunker & Box Profile and Volume measurement
Exact 3D-Bunker Measurement with continuous inventory By means of the LASE CEWS BV Module-Application it is possible to operate exact 3-dimensional bunkerprofile- and bunkervolume measurements while doing a continuous inventory simultaneously. Indirect methods of measurement or at worst just only estimations belong to the past now. Depending on the bunker-size, one or more 3D-laserscanners are installed above the bunker or box for the realization. A 3-dimensional image of the whole bunker will be developed now. Out of the obtained data the LASE CEWS application software calculates the profile and the volume of the bunker or box precisely. The software analyses the raw data by dividing the bunker or box volume into fields compared to a chessboard. By this information the process control system automatically realizes the feeding and removal flow of the material. In conclusion you profit from following benefits: o Accurate volume information of the volume & profile in m³ o Profile information of the storage…

Exact Waste Volume Determination The Disposing Association EGK (established a laser-measurement system for volulume determination
Exact Waste Volume Determination
The Disposing Association EGK (established a laser-measurement system for volulume determination Corresponding to the expansion of their wate bunker the disposing association EGK from Krefeld (Germany) its management board wanted to establish a measurement system which can provide continuous data of the bunker filling level. After a critical analysis with the task EGK decided for a laser supported measuring system from the company LASE by following reasons: 1. Its laser technology is field-tested, robust and low-maintenance 2. By its high accuracy the system can be used for an inventory 3. The modular software concept allows the future integration of new functions 2D-Laser Measuring Systems by the LASE company A 2D-laser scanner is attached to the portal of the crane and the data from the laser scanner is supplied to a LASE Control Unit (LCU). A 2-dimensional profile of the bunker is built up by the laser scanner and in connection with the position of the crane a three-dimensional profile of the bunker will be generated. The bunker is divided…
