REA MLV-2D The REA MLV-2D is a measuring instrument which examines the print quality (ISO/IEC 15415) of 2D Data-Matrix Codes (ISO/IEC 16022). The Data-Matrix codes are used in the pharmaceutical industry, the automobile industry as well as in air- and space industries for automatic identification and individual part tracking. In particular for small packing or parts with small surface areas the Data-Matrix code is more practical than a linear barcode, in terms of storing more information in a small area. The checking possibilities can be supplemented by further criteria for the requirements in the field of image processing to get even better results then ISO/IEC 15415 demands. The REA MLV-2D has a measuring area of 54x43mm. The field of view can be made smaller in size by simply exchanging the camera module, in order to be able to measure high-resolution codes. REA FL Laser With the REA FL Laser, REA Elektronik extends the product offer within the range of laser marking with a diode-pumped fiber laser marking system. This is available as 12W and 20W version. The pulsed laser system works with a wavelength of 1065nm and offers an alternative to maintenance-intensive and bulky Nd:YAG and Vanadate (Nd:YVO) systems. Sample applications of the REA fiber laser marking systems include among other things: • Engraving and annealing metals, • Colour inscription of untreated and with additives transferred plastics, • Day and night design, • Laser transfer foils, • Coated substrates. With a focus diameter of less than 30µm the highest marking resolutions can be achieved. Character heights of under 150µm are possible. REA-JET HR The REA-JET HR is a high-resolution printing system which uses the proven HP TIJ (Thermal Ink Jet) technology. The key characteristics of the REA-JET HR are a safe and intuitive operation, genuine IP 64-durability, a modular design, maintenance free operation and ease of installation. All these characteristics lead to a very high working reliability and guarantee the user a high level of plant availability unique in it´s class, thereby the system can be amortized in the shortest time. The REA-JET HR supports a print height of up to two cartridges with 12,7mm for each cartridge. The high-contrast, full-colour GUI display with a diagonal size of 14,4 cm (5.7 inch) makes for safe operation due to its high brightness and clear visibility. A central element for the input and operation of the REA-JET HR is an industrially suited jog dial. Additionally a numeric keyboard, various special keys and five menu-dependent function keys are available.
