REA MLV-2D The REA MLV-2D is a measuring instrument which examines the print quality (ISO/IEC 15415) of 2D Data-Matrix Codes (ISO/IEC 16022). The Data-Matrix codes are used in the pharmaceutical industry, the automobile industry as well as in air- and space industries for automatic identification and individual part tracking. In particular for small packing or parts with small surface areas the Data-Matrix code is more practical than a linear barcode, in terms of storing more information in a small area. The checking possibilities can be supplemented by further criteria for the requirements in the field of image processing to get even better results then ISO/IEC 15415 demands. The REA MLV-2D has a measuring area of 54x43mm. The field of view can be made smaller in size by simply exchanging the camera module, in order to be able to measure high-resolution codes.
